Izzos is love made into food. I eat Izzos almost everyday. I get the same thing every time just because it is that good. Once you eat it, you are hooked (due to large options fresh ingredients) 99% of their workers at the Burbank location are all awesome. They also take Tigercash at Burbank which is why so many college students go their (also cause we like to eat a lot). Whenever I have kids I am taking them to Izzos for the Kid's 12 and under night where they eat free.

All this talk of Izzos is making me hungry....time to go to Izzos.

I love izzos. I love izzos their burritos are so good 2 people can almost eat them the only reason I am giving them 4 stars is b/c the workers are very rude!

Delicious chicken burrito with cilantro ranch & roasted corn. The burritos are delicious. I love the roasted corn. You know it's fresh because you can see them grilling corn cobs on the grill. My favorite is a chicken on cayenne tortilla with cilantro ranch & corn. I lived in Dallas for a summer and Izzo's in a league above Chipotle. They have so much more and so much better food. The LSU location is definitely more geared to the college atmosphere but anyone would be enjoy

Best Tex-Mex style burrito in Baton Rouge. I agree, a Chipotle copy cat. None the less, unique in its own way. They have 3 sizes of burrito if I recall. I had the largest. While the burrito was quite good, I felt that the only reason it was large, was because it was loaded down with vegetables to make it that large. I personally am a big meat eater. I would have liked more meat. The restaurant was very very clean. The employees were very patient. self service drink style was my cup of tea. I can go through a good 6+ glasses of drink, and having to wait constantly on a waiter to refill you gets quite annoying. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone that likes a Tex-Mex style eatery. I wish we had a Don Pablos down here...

Illegal because it copies Chipotle. Illegal is a Baton Rouge knock off of the national chain: "Chipotle" Nonetheless, it is still good for the price. The 2-1 magarita special between 4-7 every day of the week is a great special. Not quite, real mexican food, but better than Taco Bell.

Giant burritos are made to order, stuffed with the customer's choice of tortilla, sauce and veggies.. In Short
There's a reason Izzo's deems its burritos "illegal". Each enormous burrito is stuffed to the brim and guaranteed to leave leftovers. Customers can start by opting for the "Regular Misdemeanor" size or even tackle the "Illegal" portion. From there, the tortilla is stuffed with any combination of fresh grilled meat, beans, cheese and veggies. Izzo's also offers other create-your-own Mexican entrees, such as quesadillas and tacos. During the evenings, the restaurant is usually filled with college students looking to fill their stomachs with burritos and beer for only a few bucks.

the biggest burrito I've ever seen. Yes, it was good but the burrito was so big I had the 2nd half the next day! And that's why they call it illegal. I'd recommend this to any tex-mex food lover. The only bad part was when I went w/ a group of classmates, we had to wait for additional seating b/c of the small dining area. Very college atmosphere. Wouldn't recomend for kids (limited menu & large sized items).

WOW. Our son brought one of these burritos home to us. <I normally don't eat Mexican food.> It was WONDERFUL! They are so good that we have sought the restaurant out and been back 4 times so far. The food quality is excellent. There is a college atmosphere. You'd want to wear jeans or shorts and a jacket (It is kind of cool in there). I wasn't impressed with their nachos but the burritos are fabulous... Highly recommend!!!
