My daughter had her bridal photos taken
by Brad and they are absolutely beautiful. He shot her wedding this past weekend and I can't wait to see the photos. Not only is he a fantastic photographer, but he couldn't be nicer. He was very patient among the chaos of the wedding day.
When we arrived at the reception, we were greeted by another photographer who once again was positive and he was willing to get down on the floor to take his pictures.
Ruined My Wedding!. This is the worst business in the wedding industry! The photography was crap, the videography was extremely unprofessional and the DJ didn't have a clue what she was doing! I was so depressed after my wedding just because of this company. Follow the advise of many and RUN RUN RUN AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!
Run Run Run away from photography shoppe. Ken Ramsey is a crook!! I just filed a report with the better business bureau in Baton Rouge. I dealt with Brandon Pinola in Atlanta and they are all liars. My wedding was last May and I have yet to receive my albums. The wedding video was a complete joke. Pay extra and hire real photographers. Photography shoppe may seem like a great deal but the worst mistake we made regarding our wedding. No one will return your call after they get your money. Like all the other reviews, you get what you pay for. They are also known as Photo 832, Photo 281, and Chamberlain Photography and also changed its name to photo225. You know something is wrong when the name keep changing and there is not a real office space. Do your research before you write your check.
They DO NOT deserve the one star, it should be a NEGATIVE ! my next step is the news and a lawsuit.
Booked the photography shoppe and requested a particular photographer, few months later NO ONE was answering phone calls OR emails. to find out his ENTIRE STAFF was laid off (including my photographer) we Showed up at "The Photography Shoppe" business to find a FOR LEASE sign on the building and was completely EMPTY!!! HAD TO SEARCH through the complex to find him! ended up getting directed to a door that said "baton rouge symphony orchestra" and low and behold, there he was - Ken Ramsey - the owner. We wanted our money back because of the lack of communication and unprofessionalism. Would not do so. I had personal contact with my photographer after this whom was VERY understanding and wonderful throughout the entire process. She came through but the photography shoppe DID NOT. I recieved my albums on time ONLY after sending a letter and demanding the owner's signature on EVERYTHING, including the date I expected my products. He gave the BARE minimum and that is it. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone and I will find every review i can to state my experience. No bride should EVER go through what i have and what others like me have. Horrific service and no care what so ever about your day...only to get your money.
He has changed his shoppe name to photo225 and had the NERVE to use my bridal portraits to promote his 'new name' - which is not legal -didnt BOOK/PAY with this company 'photo225' and they were using photos that were not taken to represent them. (ALSO USING PHOTOS FROM MY PHOTOGRAPHER WHO WAS NOT EVEN EMPLOYED THERE ANYMORE - FALSE ADVERTISEMENT!!!!!!)
I have received my products only because i was persistant and serious about persuing legal action if he did not come through within the time i expected my products.
please do not waste your time and money. this hideous business is worthless!!!

Got married Nov 2010...just recently recieved my wedding video which was very disappointing. They didn't ask for any input on music or anything so it was completely nothing like the theme or feel of our wedding. Still waiting to this day on my wedding album (yep over a year later from my wedding date!!) Never even recieved confirmation that either of the parents albums are in the works (pre-paid albums might I add!) Also, videographer did not do the "well wishes" part of the video we asked for so we are trying to get a refund for that.
Only problem is...YOU CAN NEVER EVER GET IN TOUCH WITH THESE AWFUL PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have left countless messages, emails, my mom has called and emailed and nothing back EVER!! When they used to answer (about 6 months ago) they would always say they would find out and call back but of course did not! I
I was not even really happy with my pictures. There are a few good ones, but not even one of my husband and I that I want to frame. :( Very sad and disappointed still to this day. All I want is my album and parents albums and my refund for services not done!!! Will I ever get my album????!!!! I mean we already paid for it....just so disappointed...just called again and left ANOTHER MESSSAGE!!! Sad thing is their voicemail says they're closed today due to the "holiday" I am not sure what holiday is on Jan 13th, but I sure hope they haven't shut down without finishing the things we paid over $2000 for!!!

FILING LAWSUIT. I got married in 2010 and regret that I booked Photography Shoppe for my photos and video. It took five months for our photos to be posted on the website in order for us to view. It took over year for us to receive our albums. It also took a year and a half for us to receive our video, which was horrible quality and missing key events (i.e. cake cutting, toasts, first dance, etc.). We have now filed a lawsuit and will be going to court over the video and lack of professionalism. They never answer the phone at the Baton Rouge headquarters, let alone return your call and/or email. If you do speak to anyone, they feed you lies. Just a FYI, Photography Shoppe owns Photo 832, Photo 281, and Chamberlain Photography. All four companies operate out of the Baton Rouge headquarters. They continue to create new companies because Photography Shoppe has such bad reviews. They also have a "F" with the BBB, despite stating that they have an "A" on their website. SAVE YOURSELVES MONEY AND STRESS. Do your research and book elsewhere.
WHAT A CROCK!. My son was married on 5/7/10. I still haven't received my PREPAID ALBUM!! I have called countless times, I've left messages for a return call and received nothing. My email was answered and the person handling the situation asked for my phone number and he would check into the matter and call me. WRONG....I never received a call from him. I sent more emails explaining that all I want are the pictures. Still no response. Save yourself the heartache and aggravation. This company apparently only cared about receiving prepayment and not delivering the goods. I AM THOROUGHLY DISGUSTED AND WILL DO EVERYTHING IN MY POWER TO EXPOSE THESE PEOPLE TO OTHERS I KNOW. I AM SO UPSET THAT I HAVE NOT RECEIVED THESE PICTURES AND HAVE CRIED MANY TIMES. I WANT THESE MEMORIES!

Save your money and your memories. Do NOT do business with these people at ANY of the locations. I purchased the plan in Austin but they now say they are not connected to the Baton Rouge office yet they are listed as such on the website.
Mighty convenient of them to say that when it comes time to deliver the goods. I have been waiting over a year as well and still not albums. They take your money and run. The DJ appeared to be as smart as a rock and must have just been dropped off the set of Jersey Shores. My guess is the photographer must have not passed the junior college courses.
Not being smart aleck here, just factual as they happened to me. These are my opinions plus the fact that I don't have what I paid for.
This company does not deliver.
I would not reccomend this company to anyone looking for a wedding photographer. I think they forget they are messing with the most important day of people's lives. When you call they act as if you are bothering them. They say they are going to call back and they don't. All they can tell us is that "these things take time", but they will never give you a date as to when you will be getting your albums. We are still waiting on our prints, our album and our parent's album.
I also had to fight to get them to digitally retouch my pictures.
It takes legal action to get this company to pay attention to you.
Do not use. Listen to the warnings on this site. Do not use. You will be extremely let down. It's sad but the company does not act with ethics or morals.
