This teacher is a very patient, caring, kind and astute. I have taken guitar from other teachers in the past and it never sticks. That has changed since I have taken guitar lessons from this teacher.

The teacher begins the lessons by asking you what you want to learn, where you're coming from and how you'd like to proceed, how much time you have to practice and tailors the lessons and recommendations to what you can do, without ever making you feel guilty for being out of practice and if you're busy like me, that's much appreciated.

i have enormous respect for mrs. Joy. i have enormous respect for mrs. Joy. she has been a great teacher and a positive role model to my children. i appreciate all she's done for my children and everything she has taught them.
