There have been many occasions where I have gone over my allotted lesson time (when there is not another student arriving right afterwards) to keep learning new material and playing what I've already learned.

I got MUCH more than just solos. The teacher was really helpful in helping me understand the theory behind the songs (key, modes, etc.) and how to improvise and build on them. I also got good, practical exercises to help me build my technical skill.

i am again impressed. as i reflect on my interaction with Joy, i am again impressed at how well she diagnoses the missing parts of my piano training, then works to rebuild those missing or incomplete components. clearly, she takes her profession seriously. she communicates this commitment creatively, intelligently, and with enthusiasm.

Micah is a wonderful piano teacher. Micah is a wonderful piano teacher. she is able to diagnose my technical problems and gives explicit instructions how to practice. she has an enthusiasm that inspires student. she is so nice and knowledgeable in music. i feel so fortunate to have an opportunity to take lesson with her.

a magnificent piano teacher. mrs. Joy is a wonderful pianist and a magnificent piano teacher. she always explains how to play piano in the right way and instills a feeling of confidence in her students. my sister and i participated in various competitions and festivals. because of our teacher's efforts we have won many awards and major prizes. i appreciate her hard work in teaching my sister and me.

Good Stuff. Nice. I would expect a lot from a city like Baton Rouge for jazz, gospel, and R & B but these guys delivered. They offer in home lessons from my pick of a number of instructors. I've been taking voice, guitar, and piano from Joy and Mark. It's going really well. They weren't the most expensive but they definately weren't the cheapest.
