Love this venue. Specials are usually exceptional, it keeps drawing us back; My wife loves Chile rellenos and Cangrejo frito, the one I really like, still Fish Tacos with white rice, other think my friends.

Consistently great food and margaritas! The best in Central, La.

Bottomline: Great food. I particularly like the tacos here, especially the fish tacos and Pescado Veracrus, they have good options for those who don't eat meat. What gives this place it's "something extra", is the blending with south flavors and the margaritas, so good!

Good upscale Mexican restaurant. To me the food here is delicious and comforting with a great depth of flavor, the menu here certainly has something for everyone. I try something new every time, recently try a Steak Quesadilla, really good folks the meat is tender and if you mix it with the guacamole, it taste awesome; also, if you look for a place with good margaritas, Caliente is that place.

A good surprise!. I usually go to the same old Mexican places here in BR, but one of my friends suggest Caliente, in Central. First I hesitate, didn't want to drive all the way... find out it took me less than 20min. and after I try the food, WOW!! I will drive again & again, is worth it completely.

Our server suggest the Caliente cheese dip, great idea to start, I ate Fish tacos, everything taste fresh and it's serve with a special sauce that has a unique flavor, really enjoy this entree. We drank top-shelf margaritas, exceeded our expectations, we're definitely returning.

Tasty authentic Mexican in Central. Time and time again this place is delicious! We've tried numerous mexican restaurants in Baton Rouge and this one is hands down the best, it's worth the drive, only 15 min. away from mid-city. A small place, however is not overcrowded.

The guacamole was made according to your taste; has great food, excellent margaritas and cordial service. Must TRY!

hopefully will get better. i have ordred take out about 3 times hoping it'll get better. Not a chance. The cook obviously doesn't follow the menu. If you order the same thing it is different everytime most of the time with the sides missing. Taco bell taste better and fresher.
