Good place to workout in BR.
Can get crowded during peak hours - hate waiting for a bench or machine. Few groups of young/frat boy/juicers who like to take up every piece of equipment just sitting around.
Centurion: Newest Exercise Kid on the Block.
Centurion Fitness is new on the exercise scene in Baton Rouge, LA. The place has been opened about 3 1/2 years. Location good spot; next to Kleinpeter Sheriff's Substation. Facility is open 24/7 for people who like to work out anytime.
Not a big place. Small workout facility. Layout of nautilus and free weights areas flow nicely. Cardio equipment is limited: Five (5) treadmills, five (5) ellipticals, two (2) recumbent bikes, two (2) upright seated , one Schwinn...just to name a few.
During club peak hours, you may have to wait for a treadmill, etc. Frequently, the owner hogs the treadmill--this is very annoying and inconsiderate of him, especially when you have to constantly beg him to get off and let you use it! Paying clients are obviously not valued in this regard. And, he wonders why clients cancel their memberships?
Get off the treadmill. Clients do not pay you for you to workout!
