Unprofessional and Stressful Experience.
Our experience at massage emporium was unexpectedly awful! We were greeted by the receptionist telling us that they did not have our reservation in the computer. She asked me the name of the person who made our reservation, which we did not know because we didn't think there would be any problem. The other massage therapists who weren't busy were all standing behind the front desk looking stressed out over the situation and talking loudly about it. She proceeded to ask another couple who was waiting to change their reservation so that they could accommodate us. It was totally unprofessional and embarrassing.
Furthermore, when it was time for our session to begin our room was too lit and during the first half of the massage we could hear the other employees down the hallway talking and laughing. I couldn't even relax during the massage because the environment there was anything but serene.
The next morning I called and asked for a manager/owner to discuss our issues with our visit and after explaining what happened, the manager asked if he could call me back as he seemingly had put someone on hold on another line and didn't have time to handle my call.
Very good service.
I walked in to make an appointment and I was surprised that they had an opening available right then. The massage was great and the price was the best I have seen in town. Very good service and nice people.
FILTHY, FILTHY, FILTHY!!.
THIS PLACE IS DISGUSTING!!! Without a doubt the dirtiest and most unprofessional place I've ever been. Went this weekend with my wife for a couples massage for our anniversary. The staff is very unprofessional and unclean. One guy was wearing cargo shorts and flip flops. My wifes therapist was barefooted! The atmosphere reminded me of an outdated college dorm room. I seriously doubt if any of them are even licensed massage therapists. I've gotten better massages for free. When we left we had to rush home to wash the filth off of us. Dont waste your money at this disgusting place.
Best Massage Ever at this Price!.
I decided to try the Massage Emporium b/c of it's extended hours and walk-in massages, and GREAT price! I got a 1 hour Swedish Massage for $50.00. I walked right in on a Saturday, and was helped in no more than 10 minutes. The facilities were nice and clean--I mean, there's no whirlpool or sauna, but the massage rooms are really inviting.
The staff was friendly--they weren't out of their way friendly, but weren't rude. I did like that the masseuse that I had paid very good detail in the massage, I didn't feel rushed or that I was on the clock. I also liked that she gave me great details on post-massage things--drinking water, activity, etc.
If you are looking for a good massage minus all the frills that jack the price up, but with good service, definitely try here. I go reguarly now!
