Guys...If you are looking for a place
to get a haircut, then look no further. I have been using Mary Ann for the last six to eight months and am always satisfied with the job she does. She is an excellent barber and is very thorough...taking time to make sure that everything looks good and that I am satisfied with the results.
Plus, the salon has a gift area and I have been able to pick-up a birthday gift or two and a few Christmas gifts while there, which saved me from having to run around town...and they gift wrapped them.

Nancie was a lifesaver!. A few days ago, I went to a different salon and had an awful experience. The girl didn't listen to anything I said and infact cut my hair how I told her I DIDN'T want it. After some searching around and taking suggestions from friends, I chose Nancie at Looks. I was a little nervous because I had been growing it out for 2 years and I didn't want things to go wrong again. It was easy to find and when I came in, Nancie was incredibly nice to me and listened to everything I said, and gave me her professional opinion. She cut my hair and even made the other girl's mistakes look like they were there on purpose. I couldn't have been more thrilled with how everything turned out. She is really skilled and gave me great tips on how to do once I got home. Everything that a hairdresser should do, she did. I highly recommend her!!

Instant Face Lift. Nancy absolutely took 10 years off of my life with the short sassy haircut she gave me. She was AWESOME!!!!!!! Cheapest face lift I could have gotten. Finally someone who listened and who showed me how to style my hair once I got home. Love the new haircut!!!!!!!!!!!!

FINALLY!. I have looked for hairstylist that would listen and I finally found her! I tried Looks and got set up with Brittany.. She listened to me, offered her opinion but did not push it on me, and she gave me the best color and cut I have ever had! If you need a good stylist, go to Brittany at Looks!

Lindsey. Lindsey is the besy hair stylist i have ever had, she does exactly what I want...I love how i tell her give me something new and she does....i went from hair past my shoulder blades to an extreme inverted bob and kept it forever. Im getting something new again and I will only go to her. Ask for Lindsey she's amazing!!

If you have difficult hair, ask for Donna.. I have been going to Looks for about 7 years now. I have very difficult hair - thick, curly, coarse, frizzy, and dry. I tried many stylists all over Baton Rouge who could never master my hair. Then I found Donna at Looks. She is a Paul Mitchell educator and really knows how to handle my kind of hair. I would get my hair washed, blown, and straightened by her every day if I could. The other stylists there are very good too. They do good highlights and colors too. Highly recommend this salon.
