I've been seeing Dr Buchert for three
years. I switched to her because I wanted more attention towards my horrible periods, which she helped a lot with. Then I got pregnant, didn't even think it was possible!, and had trouble due to my other health issues. She really helped me through everything. Even postpartum, now, she checks on me regularly because she knows I'm having a rough time with adjusting! She's helped me stick with breastfeeding when I wanted to give up. She's really great and just seems to "get it"!
This was my first visit to this doctor
and this group. My annual exam was short (consisted only of a Pap smear). I asked for her to order a couple of blood test to check cholesterol and thyroid levels. Apparently this consitituded an extended visit and she billed my insurance for an annual visit and an extended visit. I have left multiple messages and she will not call me back to discuss what was extended about my visit. This should not surprise me since it took over 3 weeks to get my lab results. I kept calling and the nurse would tell me that they were on her desk waiting for her review. Finally the nurse gave them to me since she would not take the time to review them. They are not educated on where thyroid levels should be and only look at the ranges from the lab. I was told mine were normal. They are not and my Primary Care doctor agrees. I would not see her again or go back to this group.
