First Timers – Well I am a first time parent and of course I want the best for my child. Because of the failures that are very apparent in the EBR school system I always wanted to put my child in a private school with some concentration on religion. The school I had focused on at first was Sacred Heart but there was a waiting list and at the last minute I was able to enroll my daughter into her first year of school. I am skeptiable of what to believe about this school but I have visited the school out of the blue and the children were really enjoying themselves. The people are very friendly and were able to help me out with financing because of my working schedual. Its kind of early to really confirm any of the negative things that I have read in previous blogs but what really matters is that my child loves the school she never cry for me, and she loves to go to school. I will be keeping my eyes out for all the other things in the future, I pray that people were wrong but I will not be blinded if I see what they were talking about as being true. I will report back and tell it how it is. Keeping my head and spirits high and trusting in the lord.
this is to little miss lele912 whoever she is – JEHOVAH IS A GOOD AND MATURE PLACE!!!!!!!SOME PEOPLE CANT PUT UP WITH IT CAUZ IT IS THE TRUTH................. BUT FOR SOME IGNORANT OPINIONATED PERSON TO PUT THE THINGS THEY DID IS VERY CHILDISH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IF YOU DID NOT LIKE THE SCHOOL DONT LIKE IT!!!!!!!!!!!! THIS IS A PRIVATE SCHOOL AND IT CAUSE MONEY TO GO THERE!!!!!!! IF YOU WOULDNT OF HAVE FAILED THEN U WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN THERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I THINK U R BITTER AND U R MAD AT A CHRISTIAN SCHOOL FOR YOUR LACK OF EDUCATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!BUT ALL I HAVE LEFT TO SAY IS HAVE A GOOD TIME WHERE YOU ARE AND TRY NOT TOOO LOOSE YA SELF IN LOW SELF ESTEEM LIKE YOU JUST DID, JEHOVAH-JIREH WILL ALWAYS PROSPER...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DEUCES MISS LELE912
jehovah-jireh is the WORST place to place a child – My child was a student @ jca for 1 years and it was one of the worst decisions ive ever made, i lost alot of money and gained nothing @ all! where the fool you at is letting student who fail the leap test attend there school and they promote them to the 9th grade! the only thing that is on your mind is wanting them to get out of middle school and into high school, BIG MISTAKE! jca dosent not teach whatthey are suppose to all! all the teachers are family or if not family friend of Mr. and Mrs. Colbert.... Mrs. Johnson is one of the worst teachers! and very messy! she loves to entertain the kids and their arguements. My child usually felt very uncomfortable with going to school! They allow their family members to pick on students! my child suffered daily from verbal abuse from one student inparticualr (chardy Costly) which is mr. ricks niece. trust! they will make it seem like they have you and your childs best intrest at heart THEY DONT! Mr.Ricks is a very rude man who will try to make your child feel beneth other students, Mr.Ricks also finds intrest in the female students! "PASTOR COLBERT" flirts with the young ladies daily! and also the parents. PLEASE think twice about letting your child attend this school! go deep into everything take time out your day and sit in the clASSrooms! ask questions! this school effected my child in a very negative way! its far from christian! and if your child is unhappy they may have reason to be!
Excellent path to follow – I graduated from this school at the top of my class many years ago. Before I got there, I was going down the wrong path. When I got there, immediately I was embraced and I started to remember what my mother always instilled in me, which was GOD. Mr. and Mrs. Colbert are wonderful people with large hearts. Their staff are great people who have the desire to help others. Now, I have read the negative reviews and this is what I have to say about that......You are entitled to your own opinions, but my experience with this school was a great one. I am very blessed to have had the opportunity to attend this school. Every school have problems with the financing....do your research on that. I have been involved in public and private schools and both ask for extra money, that's just how it goes. Mr. and Mrs. Colbert and staff, stay strong in the Lord and everything else will work out. Besides, you wouldn't have lasted this long if it wasn't in God's plan. Love you guys.
Great School – My child has been at this school since she was about 2 and I love it....it's money out of your pockets but I would rather pay for a good education and a place that I know that my child would be safe. I have not had a problem with the teachers nor the education that my child has received....plus they get the guidence to follow the word from the Lord...I would recommend this school to anyone. As long as the Lord provides me the strength and the ability to afford it...she will be there! God Bless!
The Best School Ever!!! – Well i've attended JCA my whole life... Since the day I started when I was 10months. My mom said that I wasn't going to leave, and at first I thought she was playing but now I'm entering the 9th Grade. August 7,2009. I will be walking through the double doors of Jehovah- Jireh Christian Academy.LOL. I love my school, therefore, I would recommend anyone to enroll there child their. Because a promise from a girl whose been there for just about 12 years, Your child will be well taken care of. Its like a big family and ro me thats very special. Its always someone you can go to for advice or help.
JEHOVAH-JIREH CHRISTIAN ACADEMY IS THE BEST....
My ALUMNI is the best... – I attented Jehovah Jireh for 5 years and I can truly say we are a family..words cant express how or what this school has done for me. This school was founded on Gods Holy Word and discipline...This school has been a blessing and I know that its going to be around for awhile.. Now for you people writing this trash about my ALUMNI...if you didnt like the school from the begining why send you child there (dumb on your part right)??....wow..you felt like your child was failing in public school and here you use our school to help your child get back on track and then you take them out and you talk HORRIBLE about our school but you didnt also let them know that JCA got your child to where they are today...really without the help of my ALUMNI your child would be back in the same predicment they were in before they came.....but i wont get further into that nonsense with you...I recall plenty of times when my mom struggled to keep me in school but never did Mrs Colbert tell me that i had to leave or I couldnt go to class
...all Mrs. Colbert requires is parent involvement...I LOVE JCA and that name is going to take me far...All I ask is that you keep your negative comments to yourself and parents if your are seeking a good christian education and a enviroment where your child can feel like they are loved I recommend Jehovah-Jireh CHRISTIAN Academy for you and your children....
well i think jehovah jireah is a good providing school its what u make of it yes there have been good days as well as bad ones for me and my family but remember there are two sides to every story told and who are we to judge i think we should leave rhe judging for the Lord our God if we could jusrt pray as much as we complain then things will change lets begin to pray for mr and mrs colbert and the leaders activate our fairh and watch God begin to bless their minisry and tyou all as well because you are conecrted right
Really Good School. – I have been apart of this school for over 3 years, and there have been ups and downs of the school, you get it every where you go. Everything is not going to be peachy every where you go. If you want your child brought up according to Gods Holy Word with discipline, structure and love, then JCA is the place to be, but if you want a place where your child can not be told anything by authority, without you getting upset, are if you never spend time in your childs class to observe what goes on, the school will only see you when your upset about something that did not go your way, then your right JCA is not the place for you. This school requires parent involvement, obedience from your child and you, and has the resources available, it made not be some big and shiny facility, but I believe its what's inside that counts and what comes out, I can say that my child has been an honor student attending this school, and has been reading since preschool, compared to other students his age in public school and some private schools he's ahead of them. There are even some kids that have left public school came to JCA and became honor students, left JCA to go back to public, and was so far ahead that he came back to JCA. So, my suggestion to parents that are looking, close your mind to all these comments that were made, and try JCA for yourself, its better to have your opinion then others. The school is a really good school. I believe its going to be around another 25 more years and only improve, there's no room for decline.
Don't send you child here!!!!!!!!! Please – I can not recommend this school due to its lack of integrity, lack of financial satiability, and lack of direction
The leaders of he school Mr. and Mrs. Colbert have great intentions but, that's about it.
This school has been face with closing due to lack of funds many times. Its really seem to have the support of a local church; however, I?m not sure they are aware of what?s really happen here. This school also have a lot of illegal actions that take place and it?s not a place for students to be in
Bottle line: This is listed as a Christian School but it?s hard to find something Christian about it.
Also, I have checked and the classes are run by non professional, teachers with non-certification (please ask to see this --they will lie about it) Moreover, many good teachers have quit in the middle of the school year and parents have been asked to find-in. And, this school is often under staffed as well.
The good: The owners try to help students who are at risk of not make it in a public school systems. And they have helped some over the years nevertheless; the good here does not out weight the bad. Parents please say away!
