Fantastic Food & Service !!!!. These folks know how to cook great Mexican and Central American dishes. Everything is cooked from scratch and the selection on the buffet is very good and always fresh when I've been there every week. There's a seafood buffet on Friday night and they add a lot of seafood items. Homemade desserts are great. Try the Flan.

Service is very good and staff is efficient and attentive.

My New Favorite Mexican Spot. I was invited by a friend to check out this spot for their margaritas. I loved the food so much that I didn't actually end up just drinking.....I devoured the buffet. The hosts were very considerate of my needs and fast with their deliveries. I will recommend this spot to friends and bring clients to El Magey for dinner.

Mexican food. I've been a few times but only go with friends. It is not my first choice for Mexican food. It is good for kids so they can sample everything. Also, if you don't like the way something is prepared on the buffet, they will try and make adjustments in the kitchen if it is possible. I really like the desserts. They never seemed packed at dinner time so it makes it easy to get in and out. Price is ok for a buffet. Atmosphere is also ok. They do well with large parties.

A must on every visit to Baton Rouge. I am a visitor to Baton Rouge 2 or 3 times per year. This is a must stop for me on each visit. This is definitely not buffet quality food. The variety is excellent. My favorite on each visit is the Ranchero Beans. Also, on the last visit, the beef enchilada was awesome. Another favorite is the tamale. My palate is satisfied on every visit. I recommend it to everyone I meet in Baton Rouge.

Good for a budget but not the best for taste. This place is good for a family outing with younger kids because their Mexican buffet is huge. While I can say that the food never ran out and it was all fresh, it was all a little bland
