Gallery Salon & Day Spa

Skin tear during Brazillian. I'm in my late 30's and had never had a Brazillian and selected this place at random. The room was really small but the atmosphere was nice and Tabitha made me feel very comfortable. I loved the results the first couple of times -- then one time when she ripped the strip off it reall really hurt - Tabitha asked me if I was on my period and I said NO, I don not have a period. When I left, i went to my sons swim meet and while there blood seeped through my pants. I had originally thought that it must have been from the roots being pulled out. But NO !

Tabitha had ripped a 2" gash along the delicate bottom outside part of the outter lip. When I called the next day and spoke with a manager -- she was rude and said that it was just my period (which I don't have) I offered to come show her. She declined. I had really only called to inform them that there had been a problem -- that was it. When I called back the following day -- I asked for a refund and they said no but they could offer me a free facial. I DID not want a facial. I wanted a refund b/c the services were not provided as promised. I wanted the $75 dollars and the $10 tip. I pushed a lot more and they said OK -- but never gave me the $10 tip back.

I understand mistakes are made and I am very forgiving -- but the attitude of one of the manager was the worst I've ever seen in the service industry. I will never go there again and would never let anyone I know go there.…

One out of two services was good.. I was having a bad day so I decide to go the the Gallery and get my hair highlighter and I added a facial. When I walked in the front door a lady asked me for my name. I told her. then she said you can go to the back and be seated. I told her that I don't know where to go, but she just reply to the back. Well come to find out that they have two waiting rooms. I went to the first one without knowing. Then I seen a lady that worked there and ask her if I was suppose to change. Well she was kind enough to direct me in the right area. The lady that done my highlight wasn't what I expected. She told me all about her personal life, which I really just wanted to relax. The highlight was just ok. I will never go back to her. Now when I receive my facial, it was the best that I have ever ever received from someone. Jane was so kind. She knew that I was stressed out and she done everything that she could for me to have a awesome experience. I rate my facial and Jane very good. I will go back to her, but not for my hair with the other lady.…

NOT a good place for a brazilian wax!!!!!!. I went to Gallery Salon for a Brazilian wax and it was the worst one I ever received!!!! The lady was really nice but she went too fast, she didn't get everything and she was very rough! I had pain and I was red for a couple of days after....not to mention that I got a bacterial infection from this place. It was probably due to the fact that she was not taking her time and she did a really sloppy job! Definitely NOT worth the money at this place! I wouldn't recommend Gallery Salon to anyone I know. Find another salon in Baton Rouge to go to for a Brazilian wax.…

TERRIBLE!!!. My friend and I visited this spa for my birthday. We both had massages and facials. My facialist spent less than 2 minutes in my room. After about 30 minutes I walked out. When I contacted the manager she was less than helpful. I agree with the other review about noisy rooms and in urgent need of updating. I will not be back and I encourage others not to waste their time and money. I left extremely mad, tense and with a headache.…
