Looking for a place to strut your stuff or visit the click group... you found it. First and foremost, what kind of real authentic Italian restaurant doesn't have authentic ravioli on the menu... Shame on you Ruffinos. We don't have it because it takes to long to prepare... What bunk. I have been to Ruffinos one time. Based on my experience, this placed was designed for the purpose of socializing. They do have quite a few unique dishes. The sauce they have was a very light runny sauce, not thick at all. Portion size was average. For the price I would have expected more. Don't plan on coming here and spending less then $80 - $160. Wait staff was very helpful, as they should be at an establishment of this nature. Food was average to me and my wife.…

My all-time favorite restaurant. Ruffino's is by far my all time favorite restaurant and I don't even live in Louisiana! The food is excellent (you have to try the crab meat cheese cake appetizer), the drinks are wonderful and the service is outstanding. My favorite restaurant in Baton Rouge. I love going to Ruffino's. It is the best place to go in town on a Friday night after a stressful week. Wait in the bar until your table is ready. Get a great martini and relax. Once seated, I highly recommend the Cedar Plank Red Fish. One of the best dishes in Baton Rouge. Service is usually top notch. Expect to put down well over $100 for 2 if you plan to go all out on drinks, appetizers, dessert, etc. You can get by with around $75 if you cut out the drinks and extras, but what's the point. Nice atmosphere. Ruffinos has tasty food and is a great date place. The atmosphere is not overly romantic, but just right. The bar area is spacious and is a nice place to wait for your table if you do not have reservations. Service was great.…
