By day, this local favorite specializes in seafood and po'boys and by night serves draft beer and mixed drinks..
In Short
For seafood on a budget, look no further. Shrimp po'boys and tangy hamburgers are the staples of George's, all offered at a cheap price. Also on the menu are enormous seafood platters, served with soup or cheese fries covered in Tony Chachere's. Once their Cajun cravings are satisfied, most guests stick around for cheap draft beer. College students and 30-somethings alike gather here to hang out and drink while watching the big game on the TVs.

Cheap and yummy food, good price on drinks.
George's defines casual eating. After placing an order at the front, you can sit at the bar and have a drink while you wait for your food. All of their food though is fresh, tasty, and cheap. It's a cool bar for drinking but gets sooo crowded on the weekends and especially game nights

The best!.
I'm an out of towner, and have actually flown George's back for my husband, who is from BR. We love it, and never miss an opportunity to grab a couple of po-boys, fried cheese, and fried mushrooms. It is tiny, eclectic, and just a cool local place with good food for a great price.
