Great place to meet friends and dance. The Texas Club is the very best place in Louisiana to dance, meet friends and have fun. Saturday night is especially great. There is a lot of line dancing and country two step as well as jitterbug and shuffle. There is nowhere else I would rather be than the Texas Club on Saturday night.

Good country acts. Teh texas club gets a handful of good country performers such as Pat Green, Billy Currington, Shooter Jennings, etc . The atmosphere is pretty intimate, which makes for a good show. Other than going for a concert, I wouldnt highly recommend it. It can be stuffy and hot.

.... I now live in Virginia. I used to go to the Texas Club as often as possible when I lived back home. I made many friends here and joined in the line dancing group. I love this club because it offers a variety of music, from country to hip-hop to techno and a large dance floor for all types of dancing and, also, two bars on each side of the dance floor. I love to dance and love all types of music and this has been the only club I've visited that offers something to everyone. The bartenders are great, as well as the management team. Thursday nights are probably the best nights for drinking because they offer coin night...any drink for a penny (if they still offer it). Saturdays are great for meeting lots of new people. That's when it's packed the most.
