Lots of fun and good food. I've never been disappointed with the food or the service here. The fajitas really are the best this side of the border. Their appetizer sampler is great - when you can't decide on which appetizer to get, just try this! Also, the margaritas are tasty, although expensive.

Fun atmosphere. Superior has some great food, and even better margaritas! Thursday nights its the place to go, so watch out for a big crowd and possibly long wait.

America's best Mexican restaurant!!. Although I miss the Shreveport location, this one in Baton Rouge is quite good too. Awesome margaritas, fajitas, and quesadillas!! My only complaint: they don't have the same queso dip as the Shreveport location (has authentic white Chihuahua cheese). If I had to choose my last meal on Earth it would be: 1) a sangria margarita, 2) the special white queso dip, 3) the grande quesadillas de pollo (chicken), and 4) the flan for dessert (which I normally order to go b/c the meal is so large!). Oh & did I mention the value is great too?

Best Mexican food in B.R.. My usual test of a good Mexican restaurant is its 1)Margaritas, 2)salsa, and 3)fajitas. Superior is SUPERIOR on all 3! Consistently the best-tasting Margaritas I've ever had, made with fresh lime juice and tequila you can actually taste! You can't say that for most of the other restaurants around, with their overly-sweetened, practically non-alcoholic Margaritas. The salsa is fantastic, too, with a nice cilantro-taste to it that again, most Mexican restaurants cannot compare to. And the fajitas come out sizzling, like they're supposed to (ahem!)! Great food, great atmosphere (usually a young, 20-30 something crowd in the bar area), and great service by Spanish-speaking staff. This is what a Mexican restaurant should be!

Superior Grill is truly SUPERIOR!. If you like real Mexicn food, prepared by real Mexicans and served by real Mexicans, then Superior Grill is the place for you! Deliscioso. I love authentic Mexican food, and I never miss an opportunity to eat at Superior Grill when I'm in Baton Rouge, New Orleans, Shreveport and Birmingham. Their BIG COMBINATION PLATTERS are the BEST! Enjoy, Amigos.

Gotta try it. We eat here everytime we come in from the East Coast, have never had a bad meal. It's a little noisey but that's part of the ambience. good prices too = sometimes have to wait too long especially difficult when you have a handicapped patron.
