I have never been treated so rudely.. I placed an online order at their sister restuarant at 1:20pm. I called nearly two hours later to ask where my food was, and the order had gotten lost. I understand that happens, but the manager tells me that he can't bring me the food until after 5pm, because his driver leaves between lunch and dinner. That's 4 HOURS after I ordered LUNCH. He told me if I couldnt' wait that I could have my money back, and told him that was unacceptable and to do the right thing and bring me my food, because I needed to eat, and not the money. He refused, so I called the owner at the main restuarant. He was extremely rude to me and talked over me and when I told him that not bringing my food was unacceptable he just cancelled my account. I have never been treated so poorly by a business. Yes I was upset on the phone, but given the incovenience and everyone's tone to me, it was justified. But hey Pastime, don't worry about me I'm just one person and you can treat me like absolute crap, because there are plenty of other people out there that will just sit there and take it RIGHT???? Customer service doesn't matter when you have the volume........at least it doesn't to them.
Best pizza and the nicest staff around!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. I went by there new location and its great. Jamie and his staff really have did a great job the people are always very polite.
Love the Po Boy!!!. I went to the new one on Drucilla and had the best Shrimp Po Boy. The bread was the best part. Nice and cripsy on the outside and a little chewy on the inside. Perfection!!!! The female who took my take out order was very pleasant and made sure she got it right; she did!!! Can't wait to take my mom when she comes for a visit.
Baton Rouge's best pizza and a great place to unwind.. A great place to relax and think about the good ole day's. Hat's off to Jamey and his staff for always making our visits pleasent. Geaux Tigers!!!!
Something was responsible for the Pastime being the Oldest Restaurant in Baton Rouge and being listed in Pizza Today as one of the Top 100 Independent Restaurants in the United States.. The BEST Pizzas and Poboys we have ever eaten. Both are always loaded down and perfectly cooked. The menu has so many items that every taste is covered. Try the Boudin Pizza. It is unique to the Pastime and a taste experaince you will crave forever more. Great atmosphere. Excellent Service and very good prices. LSU Game days are packed as the Pastime is the tradition place for fans to gather for pre-game meals and hospitality. Lunch time is always busy with customers from downtown, LSU, the surrounding nieghborhoods and the travelers and tourists. This is a must stop for anyone wanting great food and to enjoy a Baton Rouge Tradition.
