Editorial Review by Christina Thornell. Chain eatery serves market-fresh fish cooked on a wood-burning grill, including swordfish and lobster tails dipped in any of its signature sauces.
Very overrated. I ordered the grouper and my girlfriend ordered the filet. The filet was very good; however, the fish was very "fishy" tasting and not worth the money. The garlic mashed potatoes were very blan and had way too much garlic powder. The atmosphere is great and the ser vice mediocre. I do not think I will be going back. The drinks were very overpriced for what you got. Very clean.
ahi tuna for 3?. good place for a date, esp. if you want fish. i ordered the ahi tuna entree and i kid you not they served me 3 huge chunks of it, lightly seared on the outside like i ordered. it was tasty, too. will cost you about $65 (an app, 2 of the more pricy fish entrees, and 2 n/a beverages) with tip for 2 adults, without adult beverages. tried the grouper but wasn't blown away as compared to the tuna.
Good for seafood - but not Cajun style!. When people in Louisiana eat seafood they expect it to be spicy like most seafood places. I guess that is why I was surprised to find a very different taste at Bonefish. I enjoyed their food, especially their fresh fish. This place would only be good for a night out on the town, though - it's pretty pricey.
