HORRIBLE!!!. AFTER 2 HORRIBLE EXPERIENCES THEIR I WILL NEVER GO BACK. ONE MORNING ON THE WAY TO WORK THEY NEVER ANSWERED THE SPEAKER, I WENT TO ANOTHER SPEAKER, STILL NO ANSWER. WHEN I CALLED TO ASK WHY, THEY GAVE SOME DUMB EXCUSE ABOUT A SLUSHIE MACHINE BEING LOUD, AND THEY JUST COULDN'T HEAR. WANTING TO BELIEVE THAT WAS THE CASE I WENT BACK WITH A FRIEND. SHE ORDERED A HAMBURGER AND IT TASTED LIKE A BOX OF SALT WAS DUMPED ON TOP OF IT. OBVIOUSLY THE OWNERS ARE NOT PROFESSIONALS AND DON'T CARE ABOUT THE QUALITY OF FOOD OR TYPE OF SERVICE THEIR CUSTOMERS GET. DON'T GO THEIR!!!! I HOPE IT SHUTS DOWN, JUST LIKE THE ARBY'S ON COURSEY BECAUSE THEY SUCK!!!!!!!! THEY GOT 1 STAR CAUSE I HAD TO ON THIS SITE???????
Retro-outfitted servers deliver burgers, malts and sandwiches to your car at this '50s-style drive-in chain..
In Short
Founded in 1953 as a hamburger-and-root-beer stand, this nostalgic eatery is known for its intercom ordering system and roller-skating carhops. While servers rarely roller skate anymore, the famous made-to-order, all-beef burgers and thick malts are still menu favorites. Other signature items include Toaster sandwiches (made with thick Texas toast), extra-long chili and cheese hot dogs and hand-battered onion rings and tater tots. Desserts include chocolate, vanilla and strawberry shakes and fresh fruit slushes.
